This day with Fernanda, the founder of Tuong Tuong

In today’s post, I’m sharing a bit of my own story and the passion that led to the creation of Tuong Tuong. From day one in 2013, my desire was to build something that was more than just a stationery brand — I wanted to create an experience where timeless design meets modern functionality, where each product brings a sense of authenticity and inspiration.

I see stationery as a bridge to the intangible. Feeling the paper under your fingers, opening a new notebook, watching the ink glide across a page — these are subtle pleasures that transform the act of writing, drawing or simply organizing your day-to-day life into small personal rituals. When creating Tuong Tuong, each notebook, each notepad, each postcard was chosen to immerse us in this universe of details that make life richer and more meaningful.

The trips to the bookstore were inspired by something similar: that silent respect for the objects that live there, the patient waiting in lines, the feeling of leafing through a book that carries stories that have not yet been read. In the same way, each Tuong Tuong product is an open door to moments like these, where vintage design meets the present, and the lines of an empty page come to life with words, sketches, or perhaps a simple list of ideas. It is an invitation to pause, to genuine expression, a new way of being inspired.

When I explore a new collection, I look at every detail with an almost ritualistic care. The pleasure of photography also comes from this: capturing these moments, immortalizing beauty in details. Just like postcards that allow us to save memories in a tangible way, or notebooks that are travel companions and records of dreams.

For me, Tuong Tuong is a celebration of this love for paper, for the organization it inspires, and for the little moments that bring beauty to everyday life.
